The punishment which the wise suffer who refuse to take part in the government, is to live under the government of worse men.

Coverup: Behind the Iran-Contra Affair

One Boner image: A work of merit, but either due to reasons of style or content, does not quite measure up. Rest assured, this will still get the mainstream public’s panties in a twit, but is still mild stuff, compartively speaking.

Coverup: Behind the Iran-Contra Affair (1988) Directed by Barbara Trent.

Coverup

By any measure, the Iran-Contra scandal represented treason of the highest order, whereby a president and his advisors systematically plotted to overthrow a foreign government. When Congress specifically barred them from doing so by cutting off funding, they used illegal means (drugs and weapons trafficking) to circumvent those regulations. Then, when the scandal was exposed, they used presidential pardons to protect themselves. Bill Clinton’s lying about sex palls by comparison.
