Stich, Rodney: Defrauding America
|
I must thank my parents for giving me this book a decade ago. It opened my eyes to the ways in which the US judicial system has been systematically corrupted by the powers-that-be, through crony appointments, blackmail, etc. Rodney Stich was an FAA inspector who uncovered a large scandal involving forged training records by some of the country’s biggest airlines. When he tried to blow the whistle on this (which was his proper duty in his job), he found himself being brought to court on phony charges. So he fought back, but through a series of corrupt judges, he was eventually sent to jail. And guess what he found there? A whole bunch of other whistle blowers like himself, people who tried to do the right thing and ended up paying a heavy price for it. Now in its 3rd edition, Defrauding America is a classic. Don’t expect slick publishing and editing, just sleeves-rolled up blue-collar journalism of the type rarely seen in America today. This is classic three-bone stuff that will rock your beliefs to the core. Rodney Stich also has a web site, Defrauding America.
